Repaired disk (worked somewhat because it showed me the available updates but when I went to download them they said the server was unreachable and when I re-opened Software Update the updates were no longer visible)

PS: The last successful update was on March 20 2010 with Safari 4.0.5 and a Digital Camera update.
Successfully downloaded Photoshop & Illustrator apps to desktop Dell PC. I cannot download the same apps to my new MacBook Pro OS X v10.9.2. Whenever I try to download multiple copies of Creative Cloud installer (.dmg) just keep showing up in my download folder. Open the App Store app on your Mac. Click Updates in the App Store toolbar. Use the Update buttons to download and install any updates listed. When the App Store shows no more updates, the installed version of macOS and all of its apps are up to date. That includes Safari, iTunes, iBooks, Messages, Mail, Calendar, Photos and FaceTime. If you attempt to reinstall without first removing previously installed files, then it's possible that the installer can't overwrite the existing files. Also, it's possible that the hard disk doesn't have enough free space to install the application. If reinstalling still does not work, manually remove the product. If the entire system of your Mac frozen and you can't even move the cursor around. Your last option is to force reboot the Mac manually. If you are on a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air, hold down the Power button (located on the keyboard for newer MacBooks) for 5 seconds or so, until the system shuts down completely. Then press it again to start. Sorry Dan, altering the date via terminal was a lost of time. It didn't work for me. What did work was using a bootable usb. In a friend's Mac, download the desired OS installer (High Sierra in my case for my MacBook Pro Late 2011 - google 'How to Download a Full macOS High Sierra Installer App') and create the bootable USB, HDD or even SSD with Disk Creator (2 steps very friendly freeware.

We've updated most current apps to 64-bit architecture. The following versions work in Catalina, but have these known issues.

Uninstall 32-bit apps before upgrading to Catalina
Before you upgrade to Catalina, we recommend that you uninstall your 32-bit Adobe apps. Older uninstallers are also 32-bit apps and don't work in Catalina.
